This is a collection of small portraits made depicting my grief. Everyone experiences grief and people handles it in one way or another. I made this collection to depict the grief I have of losing my grandmother and my dog having terminal cancer (given only months to live). These pictures all have a deeper meaning to them. They are one of my first conceptual collection for those to understand the multifaceted stages and feelings that come with grief.  My Grandmother (Nancy Capps)  passed away a week after the last picture had been made and my dog actually lived for another 10 months but sadly declined and left us in August of 2021.
